Lost Your Driving License in Titaguas? Download the Official Replacement Request Template
If you have lost your Spanish driving license while residing in or visiting Titaguas, you must request a duplicate (duplicado) from the DGT (Dirección General de Tráfico). Our ready-to-use template will help you prepare the formal request to ensure your paperwork is processed correctly by the administration.
How and Where to Submit Your Request in Titaguas
As Titaguas is a smaller municipality in the province of Valencia, you do not have a direct DGT office in the town itself. You have two main options to submit your request:
- Online: The most efficient method is via the DGT "Sede Electrónica" using a digital certificate or Cl@ve PIN.
- In-Person: You must visit the nearest Jefatura Provincial de Tráfico in Valencia (Calle Tres Forques, 85). You must book an appointment (cita previa) by calling 060 or visiting the DGT website before arriving.

Additional Documentation Required
When you present your request at the DGT office or prepare your digital file, ensure you have the following items ready:
- Proof of Identity: Your original DNI or valid passport.
- Payment of Fees: You must pay the official DGT fee (Tasa 4.4) for duplicate licenses. You can pay this online via the DGT website or at the office via credit card (cash is not accepted at DGT offices).
- Photographs: If you are applying in person, you may need a current passport-sized photograph (32x26mm), though this is often captured digitally at the office.
- Official Form: The "Solicitud de trámites de conductores" form provided by the DGT.
Expert Tip: Always keep a photocopy of your submitted request stamped by the DGT office. While your new license is being processed, the DGT will provide you with a temporary authorization (autorización temporal) that allows you to drive legally within Spain for 90 days. Keep this document in your vehicle at all times until your permanent physical card arrives via mail to your registered address.
