- A copy of your DNI, NIE, or Passport.
- A copy of the original fine notification received by mail.
- Any photographic evidence or documentation that supports your claim (e.g., if you were not the driver, a signed document from the actual driver accepting the fine).
- If you are claiming a technical error, any expert reports or photographs of the road signage that you believe were misleading or absent.
Expert Tip: Always keep a copy of your appeal stamped by the registry office. If you choose to pay the fine to benefit from the 50% "pronto pago" (early payment) discount, be aware that doing so is legally considered an admission of guilt, which effectively terminates your right to appeal.
