How to Authorize Someone Else to Take Your Vehicle for ITV Inspection in Medorra (A) (Downloadable Template)

If you are unable to take your vehicle to the ITV (Inspección Técnica de Vehículos) station in Medorra yourself, you can legally authorize a third party to do it for you. This is a common situation for busy professionals or those who may be out of town when their vehicle’s inspection is due. To ensure the process goes smoothly at the Medorra inspection center, you must provide the person representing you with a signed authorization document.

Instructions on how and where to submit it in Medorra (A)

When you arrive at the ITV station in Medorra, you do not need to "submit" this document to a government office in advance. Instead, you must give the printed and signed authorization to the person who is taking the vehicle. They will present this document to the ITV station clerk at the front desk when they check in for the appointment.

Expert Tip: Before heading to the Medorra ITV station, check your vehicle's lights, tire pressure, and fluid levels. Even if you are sending someone else, if the car fails a "basic" check (like a broken headlight), you will be forced to return for a second inspection. Also, ensure that the person you authorize is comfortable driving your vehicle, as they will be responsible for following the inspector's instructions during the drive-through testing process.
